Hi, I’m Lucas!
I am an Underwater Photographer and Scuba Instructor based in Southern California. I have been passionate about the underwater world and animals since childhood, and have been fortunate enough to dive with a variety of marine life in locations around the world.
My favorite location to dive will always be La Jolla Shores, which is where my underwater photography journey began. I first started taking photos with an iPhone in an underwater case, and it quickly became my obsession! Many camera upgrades later, I’m still encountering new life to showcase.
My favorite marine life to photograph are Nudibranchs, small sea slugs which can be as small as only a few millimeters long! There are more than 2,000 species, many of which are native to Southern California waters, which allows for an endless possibility of photo opportunities.
